This program offers essential nutrition, health, fitness, and breastfeeding resources, along with monthly benefits for nutritious food to qualified participants.
Nutrition Program Supervisor - WIC Initiative - Grant SupportedUnder the guidance of the WIC Program Manager, the Nutrition Program Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the implementation and assessment of the site's Nutrition Education and Administrative Services, as well as developing personalized nutrition care plans for high-risk participants.
This position also involves the continuous evaluation of staff performance, site services, and operational strategies, ensuring effective forecasting and strategic planning.
This role is currently funded through grants.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certification as a Nutritionist in New York or eligibility as a Registered Dietitian
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Food Nutrition
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum of three years in management or supervisory roles, with at least one year in WIC program management
- Three years of experience in Nutrition Education and Counseling within clinical or community environments
- Excellent communication skills
