We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications SUE Utility Locator to join our engineering team in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for locating underground telecommunications fiber optic and copper cables to prevent damages for our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize mapping tools and locating equipment to identify underground utilities
  • Indicate utility locates through the use of paint and flags
  • Operate motor vehicles and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Work in the public right of way under variable traffic conditions
  • Wear personal protective equipment and perform physical tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2-5 years of experience in underground utility locating
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills to record field measurements
  • Ability to travel within the state of Florida and stay overnight with limited notice
