Your Role
If you are looking to join a team that values diligence and cooperation, this Janitor position is ideal for you. Your primary duties will involve ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility by performing sanitization, cleaning, and restocking tasks. There are opportunities for career advancement for those who demonstrate commitment and initiative.
Key Responsibilities (Percentage of Time)
- Maintain cleanliness in offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker areas, outdoor spaces, and production floors (40%)
- Manage waste disposal and recycling from the plant, office, and cafeteria (30%)
- Oversee floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing tile surfaces (10%)
- Ensure windows and sills are cleaned regularly (10%)
- Monitor supply inventory and reorder as necessary (10%)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Three years of relevant experience and/or training
- Safety certification with 3M Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
- Strong communication skills, self-management abilities, and proficiency in equipment operation
