Job Title: Environmental Svcs Tech

At CommonSpirit Health, we are committed to building healthy communities and advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable. As an Environmental Svcs Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean, safe, and aseptic environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain strict confidentiality of information gained in the process of day-to-day work, adhering to HIPAA compliance and corporate compliance guidelines.
  2. Demonstrate a strong sense of team and ability to cooperate and work with others, adhering to the Standards of Conduct policy.
  3. Follow infection prevention practices, including regulations, recommendations, and standards of regulatory agencies, and safety practices while completing the CHI National EVS Standard Work.
  4. Safe handling, disposal, and packaging of pharmaceutical waste, hazardous materials, and bio-hazardous regulated medical waste.
  5. Perform standard work routine cleaning procedures, including solid waste collection and disposal, linen distribution and collection, high dusting, and cleaning of light lenses, cubicle curtains, windows, and blinds.
  6. Other duties as assigned by management.
