Position Overview

As a Field Services Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical support and services to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, configuring, and supporting new hardware and software infrastructure
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Providing technical assistance to users with varying levels of IT expertise
  • Serving as a liaison between our infrastructure team and customers
  • Traveling to customer locations and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Operating company vehicles and adhering to safety protocols
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Key Responsibilities

The following skills and qualifications are essential for success in this role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling, and common software programs and operating systems
  • Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites
  • Ability to accurately perform inventory and asset recording, as well as complete paperwork as required by customers
  • Capacity to perform final configuration tasks on customer premises
  • 2+ years of experience with desktop hardware and structure cabling
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including weekend departures, off-hours travel, and frequent overnight stays
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
