Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at SimVentions. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering for analysis, design, development, and test of DoD systems as part of an integrated government team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met and system performance is optimized.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including system design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, with a focus on DoD systems.
  • Experience with computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
  • Strong understanding of system design, development, integration, and testing principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems, or DoD support systems.
  • Knowledge of system engineering tools and methodologies, such as DO-178C, DO-254, and MIL-STD-498.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $162,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) programs, and paid time off.
