About the Role

The Housing Authority of Jackson County is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housing Specialist Case Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our housing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring housing stability and addressing the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tenants through the leasing and recertification process, ensuring compliance with program regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support to landlords and tenants, mediating conflicts, and facilitating smooth tenancy agreements.
  • Conduct outreach to expand housing opportunities, particularly for low-income families and individuals with housing barriers.
  • Perform case management, including verifying eligibility and assisting with annual recertifications for program participants.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in housing programs, landlord relations, case management, or community outreach.
