FPGA Planning System Architect

This is a highly specialized role that combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive the development of FPGA products.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with customers to develop winning value propositions and architecture proposals for Altera devices.
- Collaborate with core planning teams to improve future product definition by leveraging key learnings and technology trends.
- Navigate complex customer architectures, trading off performance, sizing, and power to optimize FPGA design.
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design, architecture, or FAE.
- Proven customer engagement skills, including the ability to win over key Tier-1 customer architects.
- Strong technical acumen, with background on vertical markets and FPGA solutions.
- Ability to trade off features, schedules, business impact across silicon, IP, and SW.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Some customer travel required, approximately 1-2 months per year.
- Competitive salary: $225,175 - $359,585 per annum.
