Job Summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to provide functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of applied trade practices and techniques, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment, including substation, wiring circuits, and distribution centers.
  • Plan, layout, and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes.
  • Maintain substation, diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubles.
  • Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book.
  • Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.

Requirements
  • State of Wisconsin Indentured Electrical Apprenticeship and an additional four (4) years of electrical journeyman experience.
  • Candidate with electrical experience without a WI license must acquire a license within six (6) months of the first date of employment.
  • Must be able to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instruction.
