Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Twin Disc Incorporated. This role is responsible for assessing, qualifying, and developing suppliers and manufacturing services providers.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field, and 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and/or quality management roles in an ISO 9001 certified environment.
Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, evaluating and auditing suppliers' systems, processes, standards, products, components, and applications against technical, quality, and EHS requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the supplier corrective action process to drive improvement in supplier quality performance.
Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer will be expected to have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with external suppliers. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also required.
As a key member of our team, the Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for creating reports and presentations for all levels of internal and external audiences, and for effectively communicating our standards to existing and potential suppliers.
