Job Title: Senior Plumbing Project Estimator

Vale Group is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Project Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
  • Maintain and update historical cost data for future reference
  • Provide support during contract negotiations and project kick-offs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in estimating for mechanical contracting with a focus on plumbing, HVAC, or similar MEP projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) are preferred
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and estimation software such as Fastpipe, EST MEP, Tremble, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with mechanical system codes and standards
