We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our pediatric patients.

Standard Hours Per Week: 36.00

Salary Range: $33.42 - $48.16 per hour (Hiring Range)

Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Administer standard respiratory care, including aerosol medication delivery, basic bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, oxygen therapy, and arterial punctures.
  • Provide airway management, including aspiration of established airways, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations, and extubations.
  • Transport pediatric patients from referral hospitals per UNC Air Care Protocol.
  • Perform respiratory care and advanced practice procedures per UNC Air Care Protocol.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
