Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 to join our team in Roy, UT. This position will support the Sentinel program and be responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineers (ME) in the development of ICBM Sustainment (ICBMS) support work and proposal activities for Advanced Programs (AP).
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with AP and Sustainment IPT Manufacturing Leads to assess SOW requirements for the execution of contractual requirements related to Manufacturing/Manufacturing Engineering for various mechanical, electronics, and structures SOWs.
- Provide guidance and direction for the team of Manufacturing Engineers executing SOW requirements.
- Collaborate across the ME Team to ensure consistency in the use of Digital Engineering processes, tools, and methods for accomplishing development work leading to Production.
- Conduct assessments of team member's performance related to team and individual goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field and a minimum 6 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 5 years.
- Just have the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- 1 year of experience leading a technical project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- Prior experience operating in a dynamic environment of increasing production schedules and high delivery rates.
- Previous experience interfacing with multiple suppliers across a wide range of products for ensuring product manufacturing capability and on-time delivery.
- Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Manufacturing Engineering, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience with Production Planning functions.
- Experience working with Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
- Prior experience with ICBM Command and Launch mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
