Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Manager 2- Communications Element SEIT to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Command & Launch Communication Equipment hardware, software, and systems team, you will be responsible for leading the development, production, and deployment of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Collaborate with users, customers, and other engineers to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Responsible for requirements, architecture, and verification leadership and ownership.
  • Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering approach in all activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience.
  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • 2+ Years experience developing, fielding, and/or operating Communications Systems.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICBM experience.
  • Experience with any of the following tools and languages: CORE, DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, ModelCenter, MagicDraw, Easy Power, Prima Vera, UML, SysML.
  • Requirements Management: MBSE, Functional Block Diagrams, Specification Trees.
  • Systems and end item requirements validation and verification.
  • Design: Systems Design, Systems Architecture, Systems Integration, N2 Analysis, Trade Studies.
  • Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis.

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $127,000 to $191,500.00, as well as a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
