Position Summary
The Product Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in aligning departmental objectives with Crystal Cruises' overarching strategy and commercial ambitions for Luxury Travel programs. This role encompasses all aspects of managing these programs, including but not limited to guest documentation, preparation of operational amenities, and vendor interactions. Throughout the product lifecycle, this position aids in the collection and management of data and information for internal analysis, providing detailed insights on destinations, products, pricing, and scheduling to support the product development in Travel Studio as well as the sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with marketing and operational timelines.
- Conduct research on competitive offerings and prepare data for comprehensive analysis.
- Compile product details for accurate and timely implementation in Travel Studio, maintaining the integrity of information for these offerings.
- Oversee program inventory and relay guest information and rooming lists to vendors promptly.
- Guarantee adherence to vendor contract stipulations.
- Accurately compile and disseminate product information and updates essential for sales and support.
- Assist in the development of new products as required.
- Maintain a broad understanding of all destinations featured in Crystal Cruises' luxury travel experiences.
- Support the creation and preparation of guest documentation.
- Engage with amenities suppliers as necessary.
- Communicate with hotels and vendors regarding reservations and itinerary needs.
- Maintain an organized filing system that includes an up-to-date list of all file titles for easy reference and retrieval.
- Proofread all product and marketing-related content for accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to address internal requirements.
- Complete all projects and assignments efficiently and within established timelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven adaptability, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- Expertise in program logistics and operations, with a solid understanding of costing and itinerary design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective problem-solving and workload management abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of World Geography.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Familiarity with the A&K Reservations System (Travel Studio) is advantageous.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in travel program logistics and operations within the travel and/or hospitality sectors.
Special Requirements
- Must possess a valid passport.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, sometimes on short notice.
