Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our OrthoConnect Operations team at Riverside Health System. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing lab procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of lab tests, phlebotomy, and other clinical tasks.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  • Support productivity goals by maximizing use of facility resources and meeting patient demand.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
  • First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
