Job Scope

This role will be responsible for developing and optimizing asset strategies through loss elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management. The successful candidate will facilitate root cause analysis of plant or business operations failures and prioritize outage work orders based on risk and criticality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional engineering services in partnership with clients and internal teams on projects.
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) teams, utilizing the Apollo RCFA method where applicable.
  • Analyze mechanical failures and recommend corrective action.
  • Lead Reliability-Focused Failure Modes and Effects Analysis teams as needed.
  • Maintain continued education in vibration, thermography, and lubrication fields to recommend improvements to current practices.
  • Identify and develop work sharing packages for interoffice execution support, providing leadership as necessary to ensure communication and execution of work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant industrial experience in reliability engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in rotating machinery reliability.
  • Demonstrated success in applying advanced reliability tools such as RCM, RCA, RBI, FMEA, and apportionment methods.
  • Extensive knowledge in the use and application of Predictive and Preventive Technologies.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo and SAP Maintenance Module.
