SERVPRO is seeking dedicated individuals with expertise in professional floor care.

The floor maintenance technician is responsible for executing production tasks to fulfill the service demands of various restoration projects while ensuring the proper maintenance of SERVPRO tools and a designated service vehicle. By providing high-quality, consistent, and efficient service, the floor maintenance technician exemplifies excellence in the cleanup and restoration industry. As a crucial member of the SERVPRO franchise, you will enjoy competitive pay along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Your role significantly contributes to our mission of restoring fire and water damage to 'Like it never even happened.'

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory and load the service vehicle with essential equipment, products, and supplies for each assignment. Keep the vehicle organized and clean.
  • Prepare workspaces for operations, establishing staging areas and setting up equipment for projects.
  • Adhere to production protocols as directed.
  • Consistently follow safety and risk management guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the crew chief and fellow technicians to enhance production efficiency.
  • Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the site is left in a clean and orderly condition.
Position Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Preferably experienced in cleaning and restoration
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • IICRC certifications are advantageous
  • Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders, working at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Able to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Capable of repetitively pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and chemicals
  • Willingness to travel locally and out of state as necessary
  • Successful completion of a background check (as required by law)

Compensation: $40,000 - $65,000 annually
