We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated. As an OT Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients, consistent with hospital policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and administer occupational therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients and to maximize function and independence.
- Work independently to provide occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Currently licensed in NC as an Occupational Therapist or state licensure examination eligible.
- CPR certification required.
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation.
