Position Overview
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of a dynamic IT team dedicated to transforming the retail landscape. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, refine, and implement technical requirements based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and refine technical specifications aligned with functional requirements.
- Conduct thorough systems and data analysis to understand application performance and design requirements.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to implement specific functional requirements.
- Develop and execute detailed system design requirements and test plans.
- Identify and implement configurations in applications based on business needs.
- Support the development of testing protocols to validate functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create requirement traceability matrices to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Communicate improvement opportunities to enhance product quality and performance.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including release notes for application updates.
- Install, configure, and support various Point of Sale applications.
- Foster strong relationships with vendor product development teams.
- Assist in the development and management of project scopes in collaboration with management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Toshiba ACE and Toshiba 4690 OS.
- Strong understanding of PCI, SOX, and Data Governance.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of evolving Point of Sale industry standards.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of business areas such as Buying, Membership, and Warehouse Front End.
