Rezolute, Inc. is a cutting-edge biopharmaceutical company specializing in rare disease treatments. Our flagship product, RZ358 (ersodetug), has shown significant promise in treating hyperinsulinism (HI) and related conditions.

The Chief Commercial Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping our global commercial strategy, working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive growth and success. This exceptional opportunity presents a chance to lead the commercial activities globally as we launch our first products.

This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Rezolute's commercial operations. As a member of the executive leadership team, this individual will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, ensuring seamless execution of the commercial growth and marketing agenda while managing all aspects of the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prelaunch Plans and Go-To-Market Strategy
    • Develop prelaunch plans that align with the company's growth plan, ensuring achievement of financial objectives and optimization of synergies across the enterprise.
    • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to identify challenges, opportunities, and action plans to ensure commercial targets are met.
  • Commercial Strategy and Planning
    • Define and implement commercial strategy, including planning product launches and identifying market opportunities.
    • Work with the executive leadership team to develop a strategic plan, supporting major growth/development initiatives.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Support the CEO and executive leadership team in developing a strategic plan, contributing to major growth/development initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities for growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with the company's vision.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and adapt Rezolute's strategy accordingly.
    • Capture market facts/dynamics and report business-relevant insights to support key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and product development.
  • Commercial Operations Efficiency
    • Support/initiate efforts aimed at improving commercial operation efficiency and collaboration.
    • Lead the initiative to expand the commercial organization, attracting top talent in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred with a minimum of 15 years of experience in global executive roles in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the biopharmaceutical drug development industry, particularly in rare, ultra-rare, and orphan disease therapies.
  • Proven track record in leading successful product launches in the rare disease space, with substantial experience in commercializing biopharmaceutical products.

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be between $380,000 and $450,000, depending on location and qualifications. This position also offers an annual performance bonus and a rich benefits package, reflecting Rezolute's commitment to providing competitive compensation and rewarding its employees.
