Maintenance Technician Supervisor

Mental Health Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. You will assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, and develop maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of MHC facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing systems and fixtures, painting, sheet rocking, electrical items and equipment, and general cleanliness and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance, including changing light bulbs, cleaning sidewalks, and other routine tasks.
  • Oversee internal ticket system and assign tickets accordingly.
  • Ability to serve as safety coordinator and maintain knowledge of life safety codes.
  • Responsible for monthly checklist reviews of each MHC facility, including follow-up maintenance needs and coordinating vendor installations and repairs as needed.
  • Meet with Life Safety vendors as needed for inspections of equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of pertinent regulatory standards and codes.
  • Willing to be on call after hours/weekends as needed.
  • In-state travel required with occasional overnight stays.
  • Maintain files and required documentation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 to 5 years' experience preferred in commercial building maintenance
  • Valid Tennessee Driver's License
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
  • Personal Automobile Insurance
  • Tools are provided
