Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Third Shift to join our team at our lubricants plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal plant performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment, pumps, meters, motors, belts, drives, and material handling equipment.
  • Work with third-party contractors to ensure safety compliance with lockout/tagout, hot work, elevated work, and safe work practices.
  • Perform basic electrical connections and disconnects to service equipment.
  • Complete standardized training and education to grow within the role.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline Global from time to time.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree or trade school preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting as a mechanic, mechanic electrician, or controls technician.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E regulations, electrical skills, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7:10am.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
