About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Plant Services Team at Kao USA, Inc.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on production equipment and facilities, including preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Update internal customers, coworkers, and supervision on progress and status of work being completed.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work area, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions defined within the scope of responsibilities.
  • Complete all documentation correctly and as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Technical electrical and mechanical training, certification, or education.
  • Technically competent in electrical, mechanical, and environmental competencies (1+ years).
  • Production facility and equipment maintenance environment (3+ years).
  • Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) license preferred.
  • Entry-level Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge.
  • Small equipment operation (scissor lifts, articulating lifts, power trucks, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for electrical, mechanical, and construction applications.
