Key Responsibilities:

As a Retail Operations Leader, you will leverage your leadership and customer service skills to drive success in your store and among your team. Your ability to engage, assist, and appreciate customers will create memorable experiences for both customers and team members.

  • Utilize your expertise to enhance sales while ensuring financial accountability.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all store operations.
  • Guide and mentor team members to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Ensure the store is adequately staffed with well-trained personnel and focus on the professional growth of existing team members.
  • Adhere to all corporate, safety, and regulatory standards to maintain a secure and stable work environment.
  • Act as a vital community partner by building relationships that enhance the Meijer brand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the retail/service industry.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience, including managing teams with direct reports.
  • 3 years of retail leadership experience, with a preference for General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience.
  • Experience in managing retail or service operations with a minimum of $40 million in annual sales revenue.
  • Physical requirements may include lifting and carrying.
