Cyber Defense and Incident Response Specialist

Patelco Credit Union seeks an experienced cybersecurity professional to join its team as Principal Cyber Defense and Incident Response. This role will be responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and data from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security posture to protect our information systems and data
- Lead the response to security incidents, including event discovery, alert notification, investigation, containment, and resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and resolution
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and technologies to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, and systems administration
- Detailed knowledge of applicable security tools, technologies, and trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
