Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate facility compliance with federal regulations and targets for utilization.
  • Conduct weekly visits to facilities for intervention, audit, and training.
  • Review resident clinical records for coverage, utilization, errors, assessments, and accurate transmission.
  • Provide consultation and expertise in the area of specific federal and state reimbursement systems.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in West Virginia.
  • Prior Long Term Care experience required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Federal Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care reimbursement system management in working with the MDS and RAI process.
  • Senior MDS experience and/or multi-facility MDS experience preferred.
  • AANAC certification highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities on a daily basis.
  • Must maintain current CPR certification.
