Job Summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced Exercise Support SME to support our Scott AFB customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air mobility operations and exercise design and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide modeling and simulation support for notional movement of Combatant Command (COCOM) Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) during Command Post/Computer Assisted Exercises (CPX/CAX).
  • Participate in User Accepted Testing (UAT) of upgrades to AMC exercise Command and Control (C2), Scheduling, and Exercise Management Control systems used to support Joint Exercise Program (JEP) and other exercises.
  • Coordinate interface and integration requirements with the theater C2 system – Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) and the Distribution Exercise Support System (DESS) environment.
  • Support AMC/A37 in coordinating with AMC/A6 to determine equipment requirements and internal and external systems connectivity requirements.
  • Track and document troubleshooting of issues related to systems outages, communication disruptions, and M&S and other software during execution.
  • Attend exercise planning conferences and coordinate AMC participation in JEP exercises to integrate AMC exercise and training objectives with those of other commands.
  • Assist in developing AMC exercise materials and documents, and support AMC/A37 in preparing exercise briefings.
  • Establish the AMC White Cell, Exercise Control Cell, Exercise Response Cell, and M&S Cell to control exercise events and responses.
  • Assist COCOMs in developing airlift cost estimates for their JEP and report actual JEP airlift costs monthly.
Requirements
  • Three (3) – Five (5) years of experience conducting air mobility operations in an air operations center environment.
  • Global Decision Support System (GDSS) experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of AMC scheduling and C2 systems.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
Clearance Level
  • Must have a current and active SECRET clearance.
Education
  • High school diploma or higher education.
Desired Skills
  • Five (5) - Seven (7) years of air mobility aircrew experience.
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of experience with AMC exercise design and coordination.
