  • Role Overview
  • The Licensed Physical Therapist is responsible for conducting comprehensive physical therapy assessments, formulating treatment strategies, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring physical function, alleviating discomfort, and preventing impairments resulting from medical conditions, injuries, or surgical procedures. This role is designed for a per diem physical therapist to address both inpatient and outpatient requirements as necessary.
  • Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a recognized Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensure/Certifications: An active Physical Therapist license is mandatory. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is also required.
  • Professional Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting, rehabilitation facility, or outpatient physical therapy clinic is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation standards and regulations governing the confidentiality of health information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities essential for effective interaction with patients, healthcare providers, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Capacity to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Competence in using computer systems and software.
