Position: Fabrication Sales Representative

Role Overview: The Fabrication Sales Representative is essential in partnering with clients interested in sheet metal fabrication and managing projects throughout the fabrication lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue and secure new fabrication opportunities by building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Promote products and services to current clients while identifying potential new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, monitor competitor activities, and develop innovative strategies to attract new clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues at EMCOR.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, estimating, and project execution teams.
  • Review construction documents to understand project scope for bidding.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive project proposals.
  • Oversee awarded fabrication projects, including logistics management.
  • Work with the contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts, ensuring the company's interests are safeguarded while fostering positive client relationships.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Supervise the procurement of necessary materials and supplies for project completion.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology and software applications.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to improve production processes and workflows.
  • Participate in departmental meetings as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in HVAC, fabrication, or production estimating/management.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, construction plans, and contract requirements.
  • Preferred experience in duct fabrication and/or manufacturing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
