About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Bus Mechanic to join our team at Consolidated Bus Transit. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel buses.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, greasing, and tire checks
  • Repair and replace diesel engines and automotive accessories
  • Test drive repaired equipment to ensure it meets safety standards
  • Notify management of any potentially unsafe equipment

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a CDL license (preferred)
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Possess a combination of education and technical experience including a minimum of 3 years of gasoline and/or diesel service and fleet experience

Salary and Benefits
