About the RoleWe are seeking a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote growth, independence, and quality of life for our participants.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement individualized support plans that promote growth, independence, and quality of life for our participants
- Work closely with our team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our participants
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support participants with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Assist participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
Requirements:
- No experience required
- High School Diploma required
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
- Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management skills
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible behaviors
