Position Overview: Cloud Data Analyst

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a skilled Cloud Data Analyst to join a leading multinational transportation firm.

The Cloud Data Analyst plays a crucial role in gathering, processing, and interpreting extensive and intricate datasets utilizing cloud technologies.

Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Compensation: $50-$58/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, construct, and sustain efficient data pipelines and ETL workflows leveraging cloud-based solutions.
  • Create and enhance interactive dashboards using tools such as Looker, Google DataStudio, and Tableau.
  • Collaborate with business partners to design dashboards that effectively present detailed insights.
  • Formulate and execute data models to facilitate analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize data visualization software to produce dashboards and reports that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to collect requirements, establish metrics, and deliver data-centric solutions.
  • Identify and rectify data quality challenges, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a similar field.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with data warehousing principles and technologies.
  • Experience in at least one programming language, such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
