Job Summary:

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair of vehicles, working alongside experienced technicians, and gaining insight into various aspects of auto body repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of experienced technicians.
  • Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
  • Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred
  • Some on-the-job experience is preferred
  • I-CAR Gold Class preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in the repair of a vehicle
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
