Actuation Technician Position at Control Southern

Are you ready to contribute to a team dedicated to delivering top-tier automation and valve solutions to manufacturing plants in the Southeast?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-field support for actuation retrofits, including data collection and measurements
  • Install, calibrate, and commission new and retrofit actuators in the field
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate existing actuators for repair or replacement
  • Support the adaptation, assembly, and calibration of new actuators in the shop
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Engineering teams to develop optimal customer solutions
  • Engage with Account Managers, Service Team Leaders, and Customers to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of actuation experience, preferably with electric actuation experience and machining skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company insurance
  • High mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer focus and communication skills

Analysis and Decision Making: Ability to identify and solve problems with sound judgment, even in high-pressure situations

Conflict Resolution: Maintain professionalism and problem-solving approach during stressful times

  • Willingness to work on-site at customer facilities
