Renaissance Repair and Supply is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our Operations Department. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, debug, and rectify issues in electronic assemblies with minimal documentation, working from the system level down to individual components.
  • Utilize advanced debugging techniques at the chip level, particularly with systems from leading manufacturers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of optical devices, including EDFA's, Optical Splitters, and Optical Amplifiers.
  • Apply understanding of JTAG and BDM for programming and debugging embedded systems.
  • Exhibit proficiency in both analog and digital electronics, microprocessors, controllers, CPLDs, and FPGAs.
  • Operate various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, to ensure accurate diagnostics.
  • Possess strong skills in RF Broadband and Optical Troubleshooting.
  • Have a solid understanding of Cable Television systems and fiber splicing.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience in electronics repair.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications sector.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and production documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation of process and procedural documentation, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety practices.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in anticipating tasks and responsibilities.
