This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the Quality Assurance team at Lockheed Martin's Shelton Overhaul and Repair facility. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Quality Assurance System to ensure compliance with CFR Part 145, EASA 145, and AS9100.
- Lead a team of Quality Engineers to provide technical solutions to product-related inquiries and maintain contact with various departments to resolve technical issues.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes to drive quality improvements and ensure employee training and development.
- Monitor and report on quality costs and corrective actions, and provide management support for periodic quality reviews.
- Manage supplier performance through metrics, receiving inspection, and off-load inspection, and evaluate supplier corrective actions.
- Oversee the O&R DQR off-load program and additional areas of responsibility including Quality Engineering, Product Assurance, Process Certification, and Document Management.
- Bachelor's degree or Technical Aviation Background of 10+ years.
- Operating knowledge of FAA Regulations 21, 43, 91, and 145.
- Operating knowledge of AS9100 and the ability to interact with FAA, EASA, DCMA, and Customers.
- BS in Engineering or Technical Aviation Background 10+ years.
- Operating knowledge of FAA Regulations 21, 43, 91, and 145.
- Operating knowledge of AS9100, AS9110, and the ability to interact with FAA, EASA, DCMA, and Customers.
This position requires a government security clearance, and the candidate must be a US Citizen for consideration.
