Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or a related professional area. OR

Ensuring Culinary Standards
- Develop and innovate new culinary applications, ideas, and systems for the restaurant.
- Supervise kitchen operations and ensure adherence to all Food & Beverage policies and procedures.
- Maintain standards for food preparation, handling, and storage.
- Recognize and uphold superior quality in products, presentations, and flavors.
- Plan and manage food quantities and plating requirements.
- Communicate production needs effectively to key personnel.
- Assist in the development of daily and seasonal menu items.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Follow proper food handling and temperature protocols.
- Estimate daily production needs for the restaurant.
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods for guests and special functions.
- Assess the quality of raw and cooked food products to meet standards.
- Determine presentation styles and create appealing food displays.
Leading Kitchen Teams
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate team members.
- Lead shifts while personally preparing food items according to specifications.
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and employee performance.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $64,000 annually. Marriott offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, life insurance, and more.
