Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Newport Hospital and Health Services. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT/MRI scans, and ensuring patient safety protocols are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including CT/MRI scans, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are in place and followed at all times.
  • Function as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their imaging needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • State licensure that permits the performance of diagnostic CT exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
  • Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
  • Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
  • One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience.
  • Certification in CT registry within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Specific experience and training in CT.
