Requirements:

* Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
* Advanced computer skills and experience with software programming
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
* Experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems

* Design and develop hardware and software for HVAC control systems

* Select hardware designs from standard design library for flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required
* Perform software programming using established standards as a basis of design
* Coordinate the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation
* Select, order, and track the delivery of materials for assigned projects
* Assist in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required
* Assist in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation
* Gather field changes from the project team and create as-built drawings and software
* Prepare proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation
* Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues
* Assist in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system
* Complete paperwork including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
* Adhere to safety standards
