Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and install internal and external networks using knowledge of network systems.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
  • Certifications: JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with physical network hardware installation and security systems.
  • Hands-on experience with network security technologies and monitoring tools.
  • Automation and scripting experience in support of network deployments.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise network environments with high-availability requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
  • DoD certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
  • Experience with firewalls, automated network builds, and security hardening.
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts.
  • Military experience or former DoD experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Secret clearance is required to start this position.
