Job Summary

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. He/she is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests' orders and collecting payment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality service to guests in a fast-paced environment
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
  • Collect payment and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables, side stands, and dishroom
  • Upsell food, beverage, and promotional items to guests
  • Participate in opening and closing procedures, including side-work duties and cash handling
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • Ability to stand during entire shift and maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
