Off Leash K9 Training, LLC, a leader in the dog training industry, is expanding and looking for two dedicated trainers in the Rhode Island area. The right candidate has the potential to earn a lucrative six-figure income with the appropriate dedication and effort.

This role is both demanding and rewarding, requiring a highly motivated individual to build professional relationships and achieve success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • - Must reside in Rhode Island or nearby regions.
  • - Must be capable of boarding a minimum of 2 dogs at your home for 14-day periods.
  • - Must possess reliable transportation.
  • - Must have a smartphone.
  • - Must be knowledgeable about social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
  • - Must complete a 17-day certification program at the OLK9 Training Facility in Virginia, with travel and lodging expenses covered by the company. Reimbursement for the entire trip will occur after 6 months of employment.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • - Training and managing both small and large dog breeds, from puppies to adults.
  • - Addressing behavioral issues in dogs, ranging from anxiety to aggression.
  • - Engaging with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • - Traveling to various appointments within the Rhode Island area.
  • - Pursuing ongoing education to enhance training skills for both dogs and their owners.
  • - Participating in promotional events.
  • - Demonstrating self-motivation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and, most importantly, a passion for dogs. Proficiency in computer skills to create training videos is essential. Flexibility to work during peak traffic times on weekdays and weekends is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills are critical. Candidates must be prepared to travel to Virginia for certification and be aware of initial costs such as kennels, GPS collars, and dog bowls. A commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for the dogs is necessary.

The right individual can expect to earn between $70,000 and $100,000 annually (or more), with the opportunity to work from home, enjoy significant flexibility, and engage in a career that they love.
