Rochester Christian University is seeking a skilled HVAC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the campus facilities in accordance with state, municipal, and departmental standards and expectations.

The HVAC Specialist will be responsible for completing maintenance requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs in a timely and professional manner. This position will also be responsible for completing special tasks as assigned, including general maintenance and grounds tasks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the industry or a related field. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.

The HVAC Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the major infrastructure equipment pieces of the University, including boilers, HVAC equipment, and hot water tanks/systems. The candidate must have a working knowledge of operation and maintenance of heat systems, fans, motors, isolation valves, control valves, pumps, expansion tanks, and heat exchangers.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team. They will be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform manual labor. A positive, proactive attitude toward delivering superior customer service is essential.
