Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and provide exceptional patient care. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will work closely with our imaging team to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams using GE equipment
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in one of the following areas: Abdomen, Breast, OBGYN
  • Current certification in one of the following areas: Abdomen, Breast, OBGYN
  • Departments (at Treasure Valley sites only) requiring additional certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Woman's Clinic, and Maternal Fetal Medicine departments require Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification from the Fetal Medicine Foundation
