Key Responsibilities

  • Collect patient health data to identify unique needs and develop a working diagnosis.
  • Make assessments and determine interventions and dispositions based on guidelines.
  • Guide evaluations and instruct patients on symptom evaluation and care.
  • Document patient information, including symptoms, assessment, and advice provided.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • 1-3 years of recent nursing experience, with a focus on telephone triage.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
  • RN-Registered Nurse licensure required.
