Denver Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Advice Line Specialist to provide high-quality patient care and support through telephone triage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting patient health data, making assessments, and developing working diagnoses to determine interventions and dispositions. Your expertise will guide evaluations, instructing patients on how to evaluate normal and abnormal symptoms, and when to seek further care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect patient health data to identify unique needs and develop a working diagnosis.
- Make assessments and determine interventions and dispositions based on guidelines.
- Guide evaluations and instruct patients on symptom evaluation and care.
- Document patient information, including symptoms, assessment, and advice provided.
- Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- 1-3 years of recent nursing experience, with a focus on telephone triage.
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- RN-Registered Nurse licensure required.
