Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Trinity Health. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide family-centered care and education to patients and families.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide critical care to newborns.
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
- Act as a mentor, clinician, educator, consultant, and navigator to support patient care and team development.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York.
- Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- 1-year experience in NICU or critical care required.
- Specialty credentialing and educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.
