Senior Tax Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at Fiserv. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with sales and use tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review sales and use tax returns, including monthly reviews of sales tax data and use tax accruals.
  • Assist in completing assigned tax audits and represent the interest of the business to state and local taxing authorities.
  • Assist in determining the taxability of transactions and provide guidance to domestic business units on tax issues.
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, process efficiencies, quality improvements, and risk minimization strategies.
  • Monitor current and proposed state tax laws and regulations to identify potential impacts on Fiserv.
  • Work on incentive projects, aggregating and calculating relevant data from Payroll, Human Resources, and Real Estate departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3+ years of indirect tax-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or CPA.
  • Knowledge of Vertex Sales and Use Tax Returns Software.
  • SAP Experience.
