Lofton Staffing & Security is seeking a skilled Medical Claims Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical insurance claims processing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage medical insurance claims, including verifying patient information and communicating with insurance providers.
- Work with insurance collection accounts, posting necessary adjustments daily.
- Manage incoming mail and stay current on insurance, managed care, and other industry changes.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions concerning insurance or billing issues.
- Maintain detailed records of claims, payments, and adjustments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Medical insurance experience and knowledge of CPT and ICD coding.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong MS Office skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Clear criminal background and ability to pass a background check.
