Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at RoviSys. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and qualifying control systems and software programs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to define functional requirements and design control systems and software programs.
  • Develop and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) and distributed control system (DCS) configurations.
  • Test and commission control systems, ensuring they meet GMP standards.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical sales support to our business development team and manage projects across multiple locations.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in automation or a related field.
  • Strong technical and managerial skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish and authoring proposals and change orders.
  • Thorough understanding of control system design and coding, with hands-on experience with current PLC or DCS platforms.
  • Desired qualifications include a B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology, and experience with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Emerson DeltaV.
